The PVS-31 Series is a self-contained dual-tube night vision device designed to enhance visibility by amplifying ambient light from the night sky, including moonlight and starlight. Built with a focus on structural balance and optical clarity, it delivers stable and natural imaging in low-light environments.
Compact dimensions of 105 × 105 × 90 mm and a weight of ≤450 g (without battery) make the system easier to wear for extended periods. The optimized housing reduces front-heavy pressure and improves overall balance when head-mounted, enhancing long-duration usability.
With a 50° field of view, the PVS-31 Series provides broader environmental awareness compared to conventional systems. Combined with 1× magnification and low optical distortion (≤2%), the device maintains a natural viewing experience while preserving image consistency across the field.
High relative illumination (>70%) further supports uniform brightness distribution, reducing edge darkening and maintaining visual clarity.
The housing features built-in manual gain adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune image brightness according to ambient conditions. This provides better adaptability in varying light environments while maintaining image comfort and detail visibility.
Equipped with rollover detection, the device automatically powers off when flipped up or rotated laterally. This function enhances operational efficiency and conserves battery life.
Additional safety features include low-voltage warning and strong light protection, helping safeguard both the system and image tube.
The flexible power configuration supports CR123A or AA batteries, with extended working time ranging from 15 to 75 hours depending on setup.
The PVS-31 Series operates reliably in temperatures from -20°C to +45°C and meets IP65 protection standards. A built-in 930 nm secondary light source ensures additional support when ambient light is insufficient.
