The auto-gating power supply is an important component of the low-light image intensifier, which provides energy for the electronic optical system of the low-light image intensifier, that is, provides the operating voltage for the cathode, MCP and anode.


Technical Features

Using pulsed high voltage as the cathode output, and taking advantage of the microprocessor to sample the output brightness signal of the fluorescent screen to control the duty cycle of the cathode output pulse, combined with the voltage control at both ends of the MCP, to achieve the effect of constant output brightness of the image intensifier under a large illumination range. The dynamic range of the low-light image intensifier using auto-gating power supply has been greatly expanded comparing with traditional image intensifier, and because of its intermittent power supply, the service life of the low-light image intensifier can be effectively extended.
