Image tube grade

The current tube grades are mainly Gen2 and Gen3.


Resolution

Resolution is a parameter standard for judging the quality of night vision devices of the same level. Comparing under the premise of the same level (generation 2+ or generation 3), the higher the parameter, the higher the resolution of the night vision device, and the parameter unit is lp/mm.



SNR:signal-to-noise

The image intensifier tube and the internal light path of the night vision device are jointly determined. The higher the signal-to-noise ratio, the better the night vision device's ability to resist external interference, the smaller the internal light path interference, and the clearer the image.



Sensitivity

The sensitivity reflects the night vision capability of the night vision device.The higher the sensitivity, the stronger the brightness of the night vision device, so the brightness and contrast of the image will be higher in low light.


FOM

Evaluate the overall performance of night vision devices.



Magnification

To show the relationship between the actual size of an object and its enlarged size.General magnifications include 1X, 3X, 5X, 6X, 8X, etc.

Night vision devices are usually 1x, with a focusing range from 0.25 meters to infinity.
