Ireeda-PVS7 Overview
PVS7 is a light weight binocular night vision googles, it also can be called NVG. PVS7 is a binocular low-light night vision goggles that observes targets by amplifying the weak light in the environment. It uses a Gen2+ or Euro Gen3 image intensifier tube. It is a high-performance auxiliary tool for detecting targets in dark conditions.
Components and Packaging
The main unit of night vision googles’ components are as follows: two eyepieces lens, one objective lens, eyepiece adjustment, objective adjustment, bracket card slot, battery compartment, IR illuminator and power switch.
When shipped, the night vision goggles is shipped in a safety box with a foldable soft head support, helmet bracket, goggles connector, neck strap, carrying soft bag included.
Product Usage
PVS7 night vision googles is mainly used for military observation, sea defence, frontier reconnaissance, surveillance, suppress smuggling, drug smuggling investigation and vehicles and aircraft maintenance under dark condition etc.
A Important Internal Part: Image Intensifier Tube
The most internal important component of PVS7 is the image intensifier tube. We have two types of tubes: green phosphorus tube and white phosphorus tube. The two tubes have different imaging colors. Gen2+ and Euro Gen3 tubes also have different figure of merit value(FOM) in different colors.In imaging, resolution and signal-to-noise ratio determine the figure of merit value. It is worth noting that night vision googles can only work in low-light and dark conditions, and the image intensifier tube will be damaged under strong light.

The higher the resolution and signal-to-noise ratio, the higher the figure of merit value, and the clearer the imaging effect. In terms of usage experience, which is beneficial to detecting targets, and it is comfortable for eyes.There are different kinds of FOM tubes which you can choose. Such as FOM1400, 1600, 1800 and 2000 tube. Higher the figure, image is more clearly.
Main Features
Ireeda-PVS7 night vision goggles has the characteristics of excellent performance, light weight, clear imaging, simple operation, high cost performance, and can change the magnification by replacing the objective lens (or connecting the multiplier lens). PVS7 can be adjusted arbitrarily according to different eye distance, and built-in digital video acquisition system, and red knock light, infrared lighting, automatic anti-glare protection. The digital video capture system can realize digital video capture and transmission at night and in dark conditions. Automatic gating and manual gain are also optionally.
