1. Working principle (three functions):

Transform Spectrum: Convert infrared and ultraviolet radiation images into visible images

Enhanced Brightness: Brings image brightness close to the peak visual response of the human eye

Optical imaging: turning an electronic image into an optical image on a phosphor screen

Image tube: a general term for variable image tubes and image enhancement tubes

2. Structure:

Photoelectric conversion part, namely photocathode, photoelectron emission image

Electron optics, the electron lens, which accelerates and focuses the photoelectron image emitted by the photocathode, electrostatic and electromagnetic fields

The electro-optical conversion part, the phosphor screen, which can turn the electronic image into a visible light image

Infrared image tube

The infrared radiation image is imaged by the optical objective lens and is located in front of the photocathode. The radiation image is equivalent to a radiation flux to the photocathode. The photocathode turns it into an electronic image proportional to its brightness. After electrostatic focusing, it bombards the fluorescent screen, and then turns into optical image
