The DA-HLM6 is a professional-grade handheld binocular laser rangefinder module designed for long-range target acquisition in challenging environments. Utilizing advanced Pulse Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology and a 1535nm eye-safe laser, it delivers precise distance measurements up to 6km for vehicle-sized targets with ±1m accuracy. Its binocular design, combined with a built-in digital compass and inclinometer, makes it an essential tool for reconnaissance, border surveillance, and industrial surveying.

Q1: Is the laser beam visible to the human eye or night vision?

A: No. IREEDA Laserangefinder Binoculars DA-HLM6 uses a 1535nm wavelength, which is completely invisible to both the human eye and traditional image-intensified night vision devices, ensuring covert operation.


Q2: What is 'Range Gating' and how does it help?

A: Range Gating allows the user to set a minimum or maximum filter distance. For example, if you set the min range to 500m, the device will ignore all reflections from branches or rain in the foreground and only return targets beyond 500m.


Q3: Can I integrate this binocular with my existing surveillance system?

A: Yes. The device features a 'tail-wire' socket supporting RS232 or TTL protocols, allowing it to output distance and angle data to a PC, gimbal, or external controller.


Q4: How does the A-B Ranging mode work?

A: In A-B mode, the user measures the distance to two separate points. The built-in processor then calculates the direct distance and height difference between those two remote targets automatically.


Q5: Does it require any special maintenance?

A: Minimal maintenance is needed. Simply keep the lenses clean with the included microfiber cloth and ensure the lens caps are on when not in use. We recommend a power-on check every 3 months if stored for long periods.
