Designed to fit standard aerospace helmets, it is fully compatible with ANVIS lighting systems, enabling pilots to perform nighttime operations such as patrolling, observing, and searching. It supports night takeoff and landing, formation flying, landmark and terrain recognition, aerial reconnaissance, low-altitude search, and infrared detection.
In addition to aviation use, the PVS-9 is suitable for night driving, medical rescue, surveillance, and data monitoring, offering versatility for various nighttime activities.
